What's in it

2 active ingredients

Each ingredient is in its most bioavailable form, at a clinically meaningful dose. No fillers, no token amounts, no marketing-led blends.

Liposomal liquid, 500mcg per spray
Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12)

The active, methylated form of B12 that is immediately usable by the body without requiring liver conversion from cyanocobalamin. Methylcobalamin supports neurological function, homocysteine metabolism, and red blood cell formation.

500mcg per spray
Sunflower lecithin phospholipid vesicles
Phospholipid liposomal carrier

Liposomal encapsulation protects B12 from digestive breakdown and facilitates absorption across mucosal membranes, bypassing the intrinsic factor-dependent absorption pathway in the gut.

Frequently asked.

Common questions about how OptiLabs works: testing, supplements, clinician review, returns and timing.

What is homocysteine and why does B12 affect it?
Homocysteine is an amino acid that accumulates in the blood when methylation pathways are not functioning optimally. Elevated homocysteine is associated with cardiovascular risk and cognitive decline. B12, along with folate and B6, is essential for converting homocysteine back to methionine or cysteine.
What is the difference between methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin?
Cyanocobalamin is the synthetic form used in most cheap supplements. It requires conversion to methylcobalamin by the liver before use. Methylcobalamin is the bioactive form already in the active state.
Are the supplements safe?
All carry an AUST L designation from the TGA. Every order is reviewed by a clinician before dispatch.
Do I need a referral?
No. All tests are available to order directly. Our lab partner is NATA and RCPA accredited, operating as a direct-access pathology service.
