Thyroid nutrient complex
A practitioner-formulated tablet providing iodine, selenium, zinc, vitamin E and ashwagandha, the key nutrients required for thyroid hormone synthesis, T4 to T3 conversion and thyroid gland protection.
What's in it
Each ingredient is in its most bioavailable form, at a clinically meaningful dose. No fillers, no token amounts, no marketing-led blends.
Essential component of thyroid hormones T4 (thyroxine — 4 iodine atoms) and T3 (triiodothyronine — 3 iodine atoms). Iodine deficiency is the most common cause of hypothyroidism globally.
Required for iodothyronine deiodinase enzymes that convert T4 to active T3. Also provides antioxidant protection to the thyroid via glutathione peroxidase. Each tablet provides 150mcg — the loading dose included in this formula.
Required for thyroid hormone synthesis and for the action of thyroid hormone nuclear receptors. Zinc deficiency impairs both T4 production and T3 receptor binding.
Fat-soluble antioxidant protecting thyroid cell membranes from the oxidative stress of thyroid hormone synthesis.
Adaptogenic herb that supports the HPA axis stress response. Cortisol suppresses TSH and inhibits T4 to T3 conversion — ashwagandha's cortisol-moderating action supports normal thyroid function in people under chronic stress.
How to take it
Simple to take, with a few timing notes that make a real difference to absorption.
Loading dose: 2 tablets twice daily with food. Maintenance dose: 1 tablet twice daily with food. Loading dose is typically used for the first 4-8 weeks then reducing to maintenance.
