What it measures 6 markers
Total Cholesterol + LDL + HDL + Triglycerides
Blood (SST)

The baseline lipid panel that anchors cardiovascular assessment.

Reference range: Standard lipid references

hs-CRP
Blood (SST)

High sensitivity C reactive protein. Measures low grade systemic inflammation, a strong predictor of cardiovascular events independent of cholesterol.

Reference range: Under 1.0 mg/L low risk, 1 to 3 moderate, above 3 elevated

Homocysteine
Blood (EDTA)

Elevated homocysteine is an independent cardiovascular risk factor. Also a marker of B12, folate and B6 status.

Reference range: Under 8 umol/L optimal, above 12 elevated

Lipoprotein(a)
Blood (SST)

A genetic variant of LDL. High Lp(a) affects roughly 20 percent of people and is rarely tested at a standard check up. Worth knowing once in your life.

Reference range: Under 30 mg/dL low risk

Fasting Insulin + HOMA-IR
Blood (SST)

Captures the metabolic contribution to cardiovascular risk.

Reference range: Insulin under 10 mIU/L, HOMA-IR under 2.0

Apolipoproteins ApoA1 and ApoB
Blood (SST)

Newer markers that reflect the number of atherogenic particles more accurately than LDL cholesterol alone.

Reference range: ApoB under 0.9 g/L
